Him Jyoti School is the fruition of the noble thought of promoting girls’ education in Uttarakhand as envisaged by Late Shri Sudarshan Agarwal.
Founded in 2005, Him Jyoti School has carved a niche for itself as the only free residential institution with state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities providing education to the bright girls of Uttarakhand.
A measure of its success is the short span in which the organisation has grown from strength to strength.
A school imparts knowledge to children, develops their skills, instils in them sound values, and nurtures their curiosity for lifelong learning. It sets the context for their future learning, and prepares them to be self-motivated and self-directed learners. Our vision and everything that we do at Him Jyoti School, are guided by these educational precepts and practices, inspiring us to provide children with opportunities to grow to their full potential. We endeavour to make teaching and learning enjoyable and purposeful. We empower our girls with experiential learning, and a creative and innovative spirit.
